Fund Objective 

The Close FTSE Euro eTX Fund is an open ended investment company whose objectives is to track the performance of the FTSE eTX Euro 50 Index of European technology stocks. This new Index comprises medium and small ‘tech’ companies listed in the Eurozone countries of Europe.

eTX – a way forward for investing in Europe 

The FTSE eTX Euro 50 Index brings together all the major European countries within the Eurobloc – France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Belgium and Luxembourg. In other words, investors will have exposure to all the “Growth” Stock Markets of the countries which adopt the Euro currency.

The Index combines the high growth markets into one sector - Germany’s Neuer Markt, France’s EuroNM, the Irish Stock Exchange, Italy’s Nuovo Mercato and the pan European growth market of EASDAQ - a sector that brings together companies which possess specific characteristics, irrespective of their size or country location. 

With the eTX, the key shared attribute is technological innovation.
